A history of UJA-Federation of New York from 1917 to 2017 written by historian Michael Feldberg.
The organization was formed in 1986 through the merger of the United Jewish Appeal of Greater New York and the Federation of Jewish Philanthropies of New York. Today, it is the largest local community philanthropy in the United States, supporting more than 400 human service, educational and religious organizations in New York and Israel. This large format book tells the story of their joint history of the first 100 years.
